I’m Kyna [“KEE-na”] Kosling, aka Kay Klingson.

I’m a British technical writer and ghostwriter who also swing trades US equities, mainly concentrating on breakouts and episodic pivots.

The evolution of this Substack

I started out taking notes on various top trading resources, including:

• Qullamaggie’s streams

• Dr. Mansi’s “How I trade” series

• Tom Dante’s “Stop Moaning and Start Improving”

This gradually evolved into writing more original content, identifying where ideas from different people, traders and non-traders, overlap, and adding my own thoughts to them — how trading is like a sport, for example.

Now, I’m increasingly concentrating on identifying the key ingredients to excellence — whether as a trader, writer, or anything else. What are the core principles of an edge, for example, irrespective of field? This interest stems from my own desire to mastering my main field — writing — while achieving excellence as a trader.

I’m also increasingly creating content with other traders, most notably with Anthony Shi (aka Dolan V. Kent). This is a good way of expanding my own knowledge, as well as bringing new ideas to The Trading Resource Hub.

In short, I’m sharing my journey as a writer and trader on this Substack, along with lessons I’ve learnt. Every Saturday, 10:00 am (UK time), I publish a new stack, following my ‘CARS’ framework:
